1. Information We Collect

When you subscribe to The Operating Layer newsletter via Beehiiv, we collect your email address. If you complete the optional post-subscribe survey, we also collect your role, industry, company size, and operational challenges. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email, company, and message.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your email address to deliver The Operating Layer newsletter and to verify your access tier for the AI Operations Playbook. Survey responses help us tailor content to our audience. Contact form submissions are sent to alex@vectisos.com for personal follow-up.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Beehiiv — newsletter delivery, subscriber management, and referral tracking
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics
• Formspree — contact form processing
• Calendly — meeting scheduling

Each service has its own privacy policy governing its use of your data.

4. Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie to remember your subscriber status for up to 7 days. This cookie stores only your access tier and a hashed version of your email — not your raw email address or personal data. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

Your newsletter subscription data is retained as long as you remain subscribed to The Operating Layer. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email, which removes your data from our Beehiiv account.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting alex@vectisos.com. We will respond within 30 days.
